PRIMA Project Management
These notes cover every PRIMA Project Management release up to 1.5.2, newest first. Each entry describes what changes for you. The notes leave out changes that only affect how GenAI Skills Academy builds and maintains the product.
Updates reach your workspace through /update in AI Business OS, and Updating Your Installation explains the process.
Released on 15 October 2026, this version keeps session history by calendar month, archives earlier months and lists validation warnings in the /night report.
- Session history by calendar month. The session history now holds the current calendar month, with no fixed size, where it used to keep 20 entries.
/nightrunsScripts/archive-history.sh, which moves every entry from an earlier month into the archive file for that month in.claude/state/history/, so no entry is dropped, as State Files Explained describes. - Project session entries from
/night./nightnow adds a session entry to each project it updates, so the dashboard’s Recent activity panel, Calendar meetings and Project Detail sessions fill without/save. - Archived sessions on the dashboard. A project with no session this month shows its last three sessions from the monthly archive in its Sessions panel, while the calendar keeps to the current month.
- Warnings in the
/nightreport. When the validation script passes with warnings, the final report of/nightlists every warning in full, and a clean run showsValidator: no warnings, as Closing the Day describes.
Released on 14 October 2026, this version corrects documentation and dashboard text to match the code, protects project numbering and ships the dashboard icons with the product.
- Dashboard icons and font work offline. The Font Awesome Free icon set now ships with the product. Every dashboard build copies the icons and the Inter font next to the generated page, so the page shows them with no network connection. To share the page, send the
assets/andfonts/folders with it. - Your name on the dashboard.
/setupnow asks for your name or company name as it should appear on the dashboard’s user card, and stores it asworkspace.ownerinstate.json. When it is empty, the card shows the workspace name. - No more sample names on the dashboard. The user card, Settings view, Architecture view and agent preview showed a sample person and workspace. They now show your workspace name, and the Architecture view counts your own projects, tasks and milestones.
- Project numbering follows your register.
/newprojectreads the IDs already instate.jsonbefore it creates a new one, so existing projects decide the format. If your register holds two formats,/newprojectstops until you choose. A re-run of/setupon a workspace that already has projects no longer asks the numbering question or renames anything. /resumewithout PRIMA Memory./resumenow works from your session checkpoints and the session history instate.jsonwhen PRIMA Memory is not installed, and tells you once that PRIMA Memory gives fuller recall.- Fewer untracked work warnings. A project with no task file no longer shows the untracked work warning unless you switch task enforcement on in
state.json. See Tasks and Dependencies. - Calendar range. The chat version of
/daynow fetches seven days of calendar events, matching its “Next 7 Days” heading and the Today view. - Consistent stale wording.
/day,/statusand the documentation now agree that a project is stale after more than seven days without activity and needs attention after 28 days. - Help text corrections. The dashboard’s Support page, FAQ and first-run tour now describe the ten views, the light default theme and the row settings as the dashboard has them. They no longer point to a
/taskcommand, which does not exist. - Licence, support and platforms. The product now ships its licence, and the README states that it is built and tested on macOS and that support is purchased separately. The support address and community link are the same in every document.
Released on 13 October 2026, this version brings the dashboard into PRIMA Project Management.
- The dashboard is part of the product.
/dashboard, its template, its first-run tour and its build scripts now ship with PRIMA Project Management, so you no longer install the dashboard separately. Opening the Dashboard explains how to use it. - Faster, more reliable dashboard builds. A build script now reads your state files and writes the page, so Claude no longer reads every project file into the conversation. It needs Node 18 or later and nothing else.
- The Today view.
/daynow builds the dashboard and opens it on a Today view with health cards, where you left off, the next seven days of events, what needs you, Claude’s notes, stale clients from PRIMA CRM where installed, and repository drift. The chat then carries only the link and up to five red items. See The Today View. - Safer page data. Project text can no longer break the dashboard page or inject script into it.
- Correct staleness banner. The banner that tells you the dashboard is out of date now reads the build time correctly.
- Updates copy the manifest. The PRIMA Project Management manifest now reaches your workspace on every update.
Released on 15 September 2026.
- Domain layout support. In an AI Business OS 3.0 workspace with a
Domains/folder,/newprojectasks which domain the project belongs to, files it there and records the domain instate.json. Workspaces withoutDomains/see no change. AGENTS.mdfor new projects./newprojectwrites anAGENTS.mdfile beside each new project’sCLAUDE.md, so other AI coding tools read the project rules.- New name. The product took its current name, PRIMA Project Management. The repository, file paths and component ID did not change.
- Dashboard add-on leaves the suite. The separate dashboard add-on stopped being part of the product suite in this release. Version 1.5.0 brought it back inside PRIMA Project Management.
Released on 17 July 2026.
- Windows Git Bash.
update-prima.sh,validate-state.shandmigrate-to-prima.shnow handle the line endings that Windows builds ofjqproduce. Before this fix, the update script reported every file as new.
Released on 4 May 2026.
/dashboardmoves to the dashboard add-on. PRIMA Project Management stopped shipping/dashboard, so an update could no longer overwrite the add-on’s newer copy. Workspaces without the add-on lost the command until 1.5.0 restored it.
Released on 10 April 2026.
- AI Business OS 2.0 support.
/setupnow fills in the six company context files and the new placeholder names that AI Business OS 2.0 introduced. - PRIMA Memory registration. The documentation now registers PRIMA Memory in the workspace’s
.mcp.jsononly.
Released on 28 February 2026.
- Protection for critical files. PRIMA Project Management now marks its critical files, and a rule stops Claude from changing them.
- Merging on update. Files you have changed are now merged with the new version on update. Critical files are always replaced, and the update saves a backup to
.claude/prima-backups/first. - Health check in
/status./statusnow reports whether PRIMA Project Management’s critical files match the published copies. - Updates through AI Business OS. The PRIMA Project Management manifest now sits in your workspace, so
/updatein AI Business OS can update both products together. - Windows guidance. The documentation now describes WSL for Windows users.
Released on 26 February 2026.
/timeline. A new command builds an interactive Gantt-style timeline for all active projects or a single one. See The Timeline.- Rules and skills in
/newproject. The project wizard now asks which rules and skills belong to the new project.
Released on 17 February 2026, the first release included these parts.
/day,/night,/status,/sync,/resumeand/newproject.- Project tracking and session summary skills.
- Rules for state validation, workspace identity and context checkpoints.
- Scripts to back up, validate and migrate the project state file.
