Welcome
AI Business OS is the AI model-agnostic business operating system for knowledge-based professional work, built for businesses of one and upwards. It gives your AI agent a folder structure for your work, a set of commands, skills and rules, and files that describe your organisation. Your agent therefore starts each session already knowing how your business works and where things belong.
The workspace lives on your own computer as a folder of plain markdown and JSON files, tracked with git. You open it in VS Code and work with Claude Code, which these pages describe, or with another agent such as Codex, Hermes Agent, OpenCode or a local open weight model, which finds its instructions through the workspace’s AGENTS.md files. Claude reads and writes files in the workspace. The commands give the working day a shape, with /day to start, /save to capture progress and /night to close.
The Seven Products
Section titled “The Seven Products”AI Business OS is the base. Six PRIMA products extend it or work beside it, and each is a separate product that you install only if you need it.
| Product | What it adds |
|---|---|
| AI Business OS | The workspace itself, with seventeen business domains, the daily commands, seven skills, two agents, behavioural rules and built-in project tracking |
| PRIMA Project Management | Fuller project tracking, with a state-driven daily briefing, automatic session checkpoints, /timeline, duplicate detection, and fuller versions of /resume and the dashboard |
| PRIMA Memory | Search across your own past Claude Code sessions, so Claude can recall earlier decisions and pick up where you stopped |
| PRIMA CRM | A record of the companies and people you work with, their engagements and every interaction, stored in a database inside your workspace |
| PRIMA Scholar | Academic search across ten databases, a local research library and citations in APA7 and five other styles |
| PRIMA Bookkeeper | Bank transactions turned into ledger entries behind a review gate, invoice matching, bank reconciliation and a VAT return review pack |
| PRIMA Bot | Your workspace from the Claude app on your phone, with your Mac running Claude Code in the background around the clock |
PRIMA Scholar, PRIMA Bookkeeper and PRIMA Bot work with or without AI Business OS. The other three are installed into an AI Business OS workspace. How the Products Fit Together explains what each one depends on and what changes when you add it.
Who It Is For
Section titled “Who It Is For”AI Business OS is for consultants, freelancers, small business owners, educators and other professionals who run several pieces of work at once. It helps when you want Claude to keep track of that work from one day to the next. You do not need to write code, although you do need to install VS Code and a few command-line tools once, and the Requirements page lists them.
Versions These Pages Describe
Section titled “Versions These Pages Describe”Each page describes the product at the version below, so some behaviour may differ if your installation is older. Updating Your Installation explains how to bring it up to date.
| Product | Version |
|---|---|
| AI Business OS | 3.0.2 |
| PRIMA Project Management | 1.5.2 |
| PRIMA Memory | 2.7.0 |
| PRIMA CRM | 1.6.1 |
| PRIMA Scholar | 2.2.1 |

How These Pages Are Organised
Section titled “How These Pages Are Organised”The menu has one section for each product, followed by a Reference section. Each product section starts with an overview, then covers installation, daily use, configuration and troubleshooting. Commands, skills and tools each have their own page, so you can link straight to the one you need.
If something does not work as these pages describe, start with the troubleshooting page for that product. If that does not answer it, see Getting Help.
