Installing AI Business OS
You install AI Business OS by pasting the prompt from your purchase email into Claude Code. Claude installs the workspace from git.genaiskills.io using the key in the prompt, then installs each PRIMA product you bought. You do not copy files or edit configuration by hand, and you do not need a GitHub account.
Before You Start
Section titled “Before You Start”- Install everything on the Requirements page.
- Decide where the workspace will live on your computer. Choose a folder on your own disk, outside Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive and iCloud Drive.
- Find your purchase email. Buying and Receiving Your Products explains what it contains.
Install From Your Purchase Email
Section titled “Install From Your Purchase Email”- Open VS Code.
- Open the Claude Code panel.
- Copy the whole prompt from your purchase email.
- Paste it into the Claude Code panel and send it.
- Tell Claude where to put the workspace if it asks, using the folder you chose.
- Approve the steps Claude asks you to approve, and answer any questions it puts to you.
- Restart Claude Code when Claude tells you to.
- Open the workspace folder in VS Code if it is not already open.
Claude installs AI Business OS first, because every PRIMA product depends on it. It then adds PRIMA Project Management, PRIMA Memory and PRIMA CRM if you bought them.
What Gets Installed
Section titled “What Gets Installed”| Product | Where it goes |
|---|---|
| AI Business OS | The whole workspace, with .claude/ for commands, skills, rules and state, Domains/ for your work, Documentation/, Archive/, Infrastructure/Scripts/ and Scripts/ |
| PRIMA Project Management | Its commands, skill, rules and dashboard files, copied into .claude/ and Scripts/ |
| PRIMA Memory | The server in .claude/mcp-servers/prima-memory/, registered for this workspace, with its index folder .prima-memory/ kept out of git |
| PRIMA CRM | The server in .claude/mcp-servers/prima-crm/, registered for this workspace, with its database folder .prima-crm/ |
A new workspace also contains sample material, so you can see how the folders are meant to be used before you add your own work. There are three sample projects, P001 Website Redesign, P002 Q2 Marketing Campaign and P003 Staff Training Programme, and three sample client folders, Client-A, Client-B and Client-C, under Domains/01 Clients/. Your First Day explains how to archive them once you no longer need them. Folder Structure describes the full layout.
