Using PRIMA Bot From Your Phone

You reach PRIMA Bot through the Code section of the Claude app. The app sends your messages and shows the replies, and all the work runs on the Mac.

Start a Session

1. Open the Claude app, open the menu and choose Code.
2. Tap your Mac in the list, and its earlier sessions appear under it.
3. Tap New session to start a new conversation, or tap an earlier session to carry on with it.
4. Type your request, or attach a photo or a file.

Your Mac appears under the name you set in SESSION_NAME. When the Mac is off, or PRIMA Bot has stopped, the app cannot reach it until PRIMA Bot runs again.

How a Message Reaches the Mac

Your phone never connects to the Mac. The Claude app sends your message to Anthropic’s servers, and PRIMA Bot collects it over the Mac’s own outgoing connection. Each session runs as its own Claude Code program in your workspace folder, with no window. Claude uses your files and connected tools as it does at the desk, and the replies travel back the same way.

Answering Questions From Claude

The permission mode decides how often Claude asks before it acts. In default mode, each file edit or command waits for your approval, and the question appears on your phone. When you approve or refuse it there, Claude carries on with the session. Using PRIMA Bot Securely compares the modes.

Reading Phone Sessions at the Desk

A phone session never appears in a Terminal window on the Mac. Typing claude in Terminal starts a separate conversation with no link to your phone sessions. To read or continue a phone session at the Mac, open claude.ai/code in a browser and choose it from the list.

Claude Code saves each phone session with the conversations you start at the desk, in the hidden .claude folder in your home folder. While Remote Control is connected, Anthropic’s documentation states that Anthropic also keeps a copy on its servers to keep your devices in step.

Working With Other PRIMA Products

Phone sessions are ordinary Claude Code sessions, so the products in your workspace work with them as they do at the desk.

• PRIMA CRM records contact you log from the phone in the same database.

Several Sessions at Once

Remote Control runs up to 32 sessions at once. With the default SPAWN_MODE of same-dir, every session works in the same folder, so two sessions that edit one file at the same time can overwrite each other. Give each session separate work, or use the worktree setting on a git workspace, which Configuration describes.

Ending a Session

Send /exit from the phone to end one session. PRIMA Bot itself keeps running, and you stop it only from the Mac, as Everyday Controls shows.
