Segments

PRIMA CRM

A segment is a saved filter with a name. You set it up once, and you can run it again whenever you need the same list, such as everyone who came to you through referrals or every contact at your active clients.

Describe the list you want and ask Claude to save it as a segment.

Save a segment called "Referral contacts" for everyone whose source is referral.
Save a segment called "Quiet for 60 days" for contacts we have not been in
touch with for at least 60 days.

A segment can combine any of the filters below, and every filter you set must match.

Filter Matches
Status Contacts whose company has this status, and companies with this status
Tag Contacts who carry the tag or whose company carries it, and companies that carry it
Source category Contacts with this first-touch source
Days since contact Contacts whose last interaction is at least this many days old
Preferred channel Contacts with this preferred channel
Company Contacts at one particular company

The days-since-contact filter appears as dormant_days in the segment’s stored filters. A contact with no interactions at all does not match it.

Ask Claude to run a segment by name.

Run the "Referral contacts" segment.

The result has two lists, contacts with their company, and companies with their status. A run returns up to 50 of each unless you ask for more.

The company list uses only the status and tag filters. The other filters apply to contacts, so a segment built on source category returns every company that passes the status and tag filters, or every company when neither is set.

Claude lists every saved segment with its name and filters when you ask.

Which segments do we have?

PRIMA CRM 1.6.1 has no action that changes or deletes a segment. To change a segment, create a new one with a different name. Segments also have no filter for relationship or for the stale reading. For lapsed contact by relationship, use the stale lists described in Stale Clients and Contact Cadence.
