The CRM Dashboard
PRIMA CRM includes a script that reads your CRM database and writes one HTML file. The file opens in any browser and needs no server and no internet connection. It gives you the whole CRM on six tabs.
This dashboard belongs to PRIMA CRM. PRIMA Project Management has its own dashboard, described in Opening the Dashboard.
Building the Dashboard
Section titled “Building the Dashboard”Ask Claude to build it.
Build the CRM dashboard and open it.You can also run the script yourself. Open a terminal in your workspace root and run the command below.
node .claude/mcp-servers/prima-crm/scripts/build-dashboard.mjsThe script writes the file to .prima-crm/crm-dashboard.html. To write it somewhere else, add a path after the command. The script reads that path from the folder you run it in.
node .claude/mcp-servers/prima-crm/scripts/build-dashboard.mjs reports/crm.htmlOn macOS you can open the result from the same terminal.
open .prima-crm/crm-dashboard.htmlThe script opens the database read-only, so building the dashboard never changes your records. It builds the file from scratch on every run and replaces the previous one. Any edit you make to the HTML file disappears on the next build.
The Tabs
Section titled “The Tabs”| Tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Overview | Headline figures, the sales pipeline by stage, how contact happens, and where contacts came from |
| Pipeline | Every engagement, with sales totals and supplier commitments |
| Clients | Every company in a table you can filter and open |
| Needs Attention | Follow-ups due and stale companies |
| Activity | The 30 most recent interactions |
| Sync | Items waiting for approval and recent sync runs |
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Four cards sit at the top. They show the number of active companies, the value of sales won this year, the value of open sales, and a count of overdue follow-ups and stale companies. Below them, a bar chart shows sales by stage. Two smaller panels show interactions by type and contacts by first-touch source. When no contact carries a source, the source panel says so.
Pipeline
Section titled “Pipeline”The table lists every engagement, most recently updated first, with its company, type, stage, value, expected close and linked project. Below it, cards show sales won to date, open sales and lost sales. A fourth card shows supplier commitments when you have any purchases. Only sales count towards the sales totals.
Each row shows the value in its own currency. The totals add every value together whatever its currency and show the euro sign, so keep your engagements in one currency if you rely on them.
Clients
Section titled “Clients”The Clients tab lists every company, whatever its relationship. A coloured dot before each name shows how recent the last contact is against that company’s own cadence.
| Dot | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Red | Past the cadence, or never contacted. A lead or past company can show red, although only active companies count as stale |
| Amber | Inside the last third of the cadence |
| Green | In touch |
For a company with no cadence, the dot turns amber after a year without contact. An asterisk on the relationship means the CRM derived it from project links.
Buttons above the table narrow the list by status and relationship, and a drop-down list narrows it by industry. Each choice shows how many companies it holds, and companies with no industry sit under Unset. Click a row to open its detail panel, which shows the company’s details, linked projects, people, engagements by type and its 12 most recent interactions.
Needs Attention
Section titled “Needs Attention”The first table lists every open follow-up, earliest first, so overdue items sit at the top. The second table lists stale companies with their relationship, cadence, days since contact, days past the cadence and the date of the last contact. See Stale Clients and Contact Cadence.
Activity
Section titled “Activity”The table shows the 30 most recent interactions, newest first, with the contact, company, type and summary. A source column shows which system supplied each one, or “manual” where someone logged it by hand.
The Sync tab shows items waiting for your approval and the 10 most recent sync runs. Version 1.6.1 fetches nothing from email, calendar or meetings, so both tables stay empty. See Email, Calendar and Meeting Sync.
Keep the File Private
Section titled “Keep the File Private”The dashboard holds company names, contact details, engagement values and interaction summaries. Keep it in the .prima-crm/ folder, which you exclude from git as described in Installing PRIMA CRM. If you write it to another folder, make sure git ignores that folder too.
The file makes no requests to the internet when you open it. Company websites appear as links, and your browser visits a site only when you click its link.
