Overview

PRIMA Bot gives you your business workspace from your phone, and this page describes PRIMA Bot Remote Server version 2.0.1. It runs on a Mac that stays on and keeps Claude Code connected to your Claude account at all times. You message Claude from the Claude app while you are away from the desk, and Claude does the work in your workspace folder on the Mac. The reply comes back to your phone, and the finished files stay on the Mac.
PRIMA Bot is a standalone product. It works in any folder, and it needs no other PRIMA product. When your workspace runs AI Business OS, PRIMA Project Management or PRIMA Memory, a session from your phone uses them in the same way as a session at the desk.
The Gap It Closes
Section titled “The Gap It Closes”Remote Control is a feature of Claude Code, made by Anthropic, that lets you reach a Claude Code session on your Mac from the Claude app on your phone. The connection lasts only as long as the session that started it. When you quit VS Code, close the Terminal window or restart the Mac, the session ends and the phone has nothing to connect to.
PRIMA Bot runs Remote Control as a background service. macOS starts it when you log in, keeps the Mac awake while it runs and starts it again within a minute if it stops. You can close every window and leave the building, and the Claude app can still start a new session on the Mac.
What You Can Ask For
Section titled “What You Can Ask For”Each session works in your workspace folder, with the same files, project instructions and connected tools you use at the desk. A few examples follow.
- “Draft a quote for the kitchen job using last month’s quote as the template, and save it in Quotes.”
- “Read the three supplier proposals in this folder and tell me which costs least over twelve months.”
- “Turn the meeting notes I saved this morning into a task list ordered by deadline.”
- “Write a reminder for the overdue invoice and save it as a draft for me to check.”
The Claude app can also notify you when a task finishes or needs your answer.
How It Is Built
Section titled “How It Is Built”PRIMA Bot has three layers, and only the last two come from this product.
| Layer | What it does | Source |
|---|---|---|
claude remote-control |
Receives requests from your phone through Anthropic’s servers and runs sessions in your folder, up to 32 at once | Anthropic, part of Claude Code |
| The PRIMA Bot launcher | Starts that command in a hidden screen window, under caffeinate so the Mac stays awake |
PRIMA Bot |
| The LaunchAgent | Tells macOS to start the launcher at login and to start it again 60 seconds after it stops | PRIMA Bot, written by install.sh |
Anthropic’s documentation states that the Mac makes outgoing connections only. PRIMA Bot opens no way into your Mac from the internet, so it needs no router or firewall change.
